About Thermography of Sonoma County
The Thermography Center of Sonoma County began in 2004, when a local chiropractor decided to add Thermal Imaging to her practice in Sebastopol. She owned the center for two years, then sold it to Renee Russo and Jenna Montgomery, in October 2006. After obtaining their Board Certification Technician training, Renee and Jenna created systems and procedures to facilitate superior client education and care, and immediately their business grew. Soon, they were traveling to several satellite scan locations, to provide thermal imaging to women in out-lying areas (this was when the gasoline prices peaked at $4.50 per gallon). Their first satellite office was Ukiah, which drew clients from the coastline (Gualala, Point Arena, Albion, Mendocino, Ft. Bragg), and also the inland towns of Laytonville, Willits and even Upper Lake. Next, they added a satellite office in Napa, to provide thermography to women in Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo and the Napa Valley, then Novato to service women from San Francisco, the East Bay and Marin County. Then, a client who traveled all the way to Sebastopol from Visalia for a scan invited Renee and Jen to scan in the Central Valley. Thus was born the 4th, 5th, and 6th satellite locations of Visalia, Fresno and Modesto! The 7th and last satellite location was Ft. Bragg, eliminating the drive to Ukiah from the coast for many clients.
They continued to service each of these California locations for the next four years, until Jen decided to start a family, and over-night travel was no longer appealing. After a year of training, in which she learned to duplicate their home office operations, a client in Visalia purchased their Central Valley business, and continues to provide excellent service for the women there. Then after their Thermography Center home office moved to Santa Rosa, the Novato scan office was no longer available, so Marin County women started making appointments in Santa Rosa. Then Renee and Jen informed the Ft. Bragg women that they could continue their scans in Ukiah. Throughout Jenna's pregnancy, they maintained their home office and the Napa and Ukiah locations, steadily becoming more busy in each office.
Last year, after the release of Ty Bolinger's profound on-line series "Quest for the Cure; The Truth About Cancer," their business exploded. It became difficult to schedule clients in a timely manner, so Renee and Jen decided to sell their Mendocino County business to a client living in Philo. Raea Campbell will be taking over the thermal imaging in Lake, Mendocino and Humboldt Counties before the end of this year! And, shortly after she began her training in January, Renee and Jen decided to offer the Napa satellite office to Emily Singleton, whom they trained two years ago and who owns and operates her own Sierra Thermography in Rocklin and the foothill areas.
Each of the women they've trained has been provided with every template, every system and every procedure that Renee and Jen created over the now-11 years of business. (A franchise without being a technical franchise!) And these women will continue to provide the highest possible service, education and support that Renee and Jen have developed over the years.
We are passionate about breast health at the Thermography Center of Sonoma County, and are excited that so many women have embraced this technology and chosen to become truly proactive about their breast health. Our mission is to empower women with the information they need that can immediately improve their breast health, clean up unhealthy conditions and in some cases even reverse dangerous conditions that are already present. We offer comprehensive breast education and support, as well as numerous resources that can assist you in making sound breast health choices based on your own preferences and intuition. We are Board Certified Thermographic Technicians, and our scans are interpreted by Dr. Robert Kane, a Board Certified Thermologist.
We look forward to meeting you!
