About the Thermography Center of Sonoma County
The Thermography Center of Sonoma County began in 2004, when Jody Potiker, a local chiropractor, decided to add Thermal Imaging to her practice in Sebastopol. She sold the center to Renee Russo and Jenna Montgomery, in October 2006. After obtaining their Board Certification Technician training, Renee and Jenna created systems and procedures to facilitate superior client education and care. For the next several years, they maintained their home office in Sebastopol, and also scanned in Napa, Ukiah, Novato, Fresno, Visalia and Modesto.
They continued to serve each of these California locations until Jen decided to start a family, making over-night travel unappealing. One of their Visalia clients eventually bought their Central Valley locations, and continues to offer breast thermography there, using the systems designed by Renee and Jen.
In 2011, the home office moved to Santa Rosa. Now in their 11th year, Renee and Jen are focusing primarily on Sonoma County, and are in the process of transferring their Napa and Ukiah offices to two clients who live closer to those locations. This will ensure a seamless transition of client care and their Thermologist, Dr. Kane will continue interpreting each client scan going forward.
The Thermography Center of Sonoma County specialzes in breast thermography, education and empowerment, and although they perform an occasional thyroid, cranial or dental scan, nearly 100% of their appointments are breast scans. They also do not sell any products at all; they provide only thermal imaging. In this way, they have kept their focus clear and their business integrity intact.
We are passionate about breast health at the Thermography Center of Sonoma County, and are excited that so many women have embraced this technology and chosen to become truly proactive about their breast health. Our mission is to empower women with the information they need that can immediately improve their breast health, clean up unhealthy conditions and in some cases even reverse dangerous conditions that are already present. We offer comprehensive breast education and support, as well as numerous resources that can assist you in making sound breast health choices based on your own preferences and intuition. We are Board Certified Thermographic Technicians, and our scans are interpreted by Dr. Robert Kane, a Board Certified Thermologist.
