Forget Halloween. . . We’ve had the
scariest October EVER!
First of all, I hope you and yours are safe after our horrific fires! As we all witnessed, fire plays no favorites, and every one of us was affected in some way by this tragedy. We have all been changed forever because of this event as we strive to find our “normal” again in the weeks to come.
As a small gesture we hope will ease your burden in some way, we are offering any woman who lost her home a Breast Thermography scan for $99, valid through the end of this year. (regular price $220).
Self Care is Now More Important Than EVER!
Remember to take especially good care of yourself now, in the aftermath of the fires. That means paying closer attention to our #1 Health Tip: Spend 30-60 minutes a day doing activities that bring you joy, bliss, connection, purpose, spirituality and laughter.
AND, check in with yourself to determine if you are suppressing anger, resentment or grief, then do something to get those emotions moving out of your body!! Especially allow yourself to grieve the incredible sorrow and loss experienced in our County!
The other breast health tips are also important ~ avoiding bras, doing the breast massage, choosing healthy foods/liquids and maintaining excellent immune function.
Your New Breast Friend: Wonder Woman
One of this summer’s biggest surprises was seeing the movie, Wonder Woman! Now, I am not a fan of comic book Hollywood movies, so a friend had to drag me kicking and screaming to see it. Within 5 minutes, I was mesmerized, and this continued until the very end! If you haven’t yet seen it, please make a point of seeing it! Although it’s no longer in the theaters, it is available in Redbox, Netflix and most video stores. The entire message of the movie is that women are going to save the world with love! Also, the heroine is a feminine combination of intelligence, humor, fierce strength, vulnerability, innocence and courage! All traits that every woman has. You won’t find a more empowering movie this year!
Self Defense Class Offered Here in November!!
I just completed a 9-hour intensive self defense class over the weekend in San Francisco! We were taught how to access our voice first, run second, and if need be, strike the assailant.
I feel that every woman over the age of 13 needs these tools, not only for physical empowerment, but for emotional as well. How many of us say YES when we really mean NO in life in general? This training helps with that too!
Because I was so impressed at how empowered each woman was at the end of class, I have contacted a local instructor and asked her to facilitate a class here at our Center in November. It will be a 4-hour Beginner’s Class, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12.
Please visit her website to register – space is limited to 18 women. Especially invite girls 14 and older; they just need parental permission prior to the class.

Update about Napa Scans
As of November 1st, Emily Frazer has officially taken over our Napa clients! She will continue to scan in Napa one day a month, now on a Saturday, and at the same location. All Napa paper files have been transferred to her, unless clients requested to be seen in Santa Rosa.
It has been our pleasure and honor to work with each of you over the years! Remember we are always here for your on-going support if needed. Please direct your calls/emails to her for future follow-up scans.
